Curriculum
Pres Ballyphehane is proud of its track record in education. The class of 2020-21 Leaving Cert results were outstanding. 20% of Pres Ballyphehane students were awarded over 500 points and 35% were awarded over 400 points. Over 83% of our students are now attending further education colleges such as UCC, MTU & Mary Immaculate College.
The staff of Presentation Ballyphehane are focused on achieving teaching excellence through Continuous Professional Development - we have an in-house teaching and learning team committed to the highest standards of education. An academic monitor is assigned to each student sitting state exams to act as a guide and support during exam times.
As a DEIS school we have close links and support available to us from both UCC & MTU - which provide extra tuition hours and online academic support.
Our Guidance counsellor is on hand to guide and support students in terms of accessing the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) and Disability Access Route To Education (DARE) schemes to support further education.
